These grapes come from Buitenverwachting's cool estate vineyards in
Constantia, and were harvested from early March.
Fermentation and maceration on skins lasted for twenty-one days. The wine was aged for twenty-four months in second and third-fill French oak barrels, where it also underwent malolactic fermentation
