Teerenpeli 8 Years Old Single Malt Whisky 43% 50cl
Teerenpeli 8 Years Old Single Malt Whisky 43% 50cl
Category: Whiskey / Single Malt
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt Nose: The nose is very floral with light citrus notes and hints of dessicated coconut. Palate: The Bourbon cask is more dominant on the palate with notes of Acacia honey and vanilla pods. Finish: The finish is fairly long for a whisky of this age, with notes of caramel and a touch of peat. Overall: This is a great young whisky which promises exciting things for the future, try it young while you can. Teerenpeli is the first commercially available single malt whisky from Finland. The distillery is part of a group of restaurants that also own a brewery, so obviously the best thing to do next was to open a distillery. This whisky is eight years old and is bottled from a selection of ex-Bourbon and ex-Sherry casks at 43% abv. This a great offering from Finland and undoubtedly is one to watch in the future!
