This shooter hasn’t been around that long, but those who like it rave about it. It tastes like a gummy bear, but which colour depends entirely on which flavoured Vodka you use. It’s called a white gummy because of the colour of the drink, but you can make it taste like anything you want. Doesn’t everyone go for the red ones first?

The recipe calls for sweet and sour mix, which you can buy in a bottle. It’s easy to make your own sweet and sour mix, however, so this is your chance to give that a try as well. Start by putting a cup of sugar and a cup of water into a container that you’ll be able to store in the fridge. Give it a shake and a stir to dissolve the sugar. Add a cup of lemon juice and a cup of lime juice. Mix it all up and you’re done. Make sure to store it in the fridge and use it whenever your drinks recipe asks for sweet and sour mix.

Now back to the gummy. If you’ve got some half-empty bottles of flavoured Vodka lying around, White Gummy Bears are great for using them up. Raspberry is the most popular, but Pear, Orange or Blueberry also work very nicely.

Let us know at liquor online which gummy flavour you think most closely resembles the chewy treat.

Here’s what you need:

  • 30ml Raspberry Vodka
  • 30ml Peach Schnapps
  • 15ml sweet and sour mix
  • 15ml lemon-lime soda
  • 1 Gummy Bear (optional)

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  2. Pour all ingredients.
  3. Shake vigorously.
  4. Strain into a shot glass.
  5. Place a small slit in the back of the gummy bear and hook it to the inside of the shot glass.

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Shot glass
  • Ice
