If you think whisky tastes just fine on its own, you may never have tried a Whisky Mac. The ginger gives the whisky a spicy bite, and smooths off the edges.

Here’s what you need:

Ingredients

Preparation

Those who love this drink are evenly split on how best to serve it

  1. Pour both ingredients carefully into a wine glass.
  2. Allow the ingredients to mix, but don’t stir

OR

  1. Pour both ingredients into a whisky tumbler filled with ice
  2. Stir gently

Equipment

Variations include using green ginger wine, which has a slightly bitter flavour. Additionally, some recipes call for even measures of Whisky and Ginger Wine, but we find that this overpowers the Whiskey and makes for a harsher cocktail.
