This one is definitely not for the kiddies, but the Tickle Me Elmo drink is so sweet that you might forget it packs an alcoholic wallop. Drinking more than a couple will surely lead to a rowdy game of “Elmo Fall Down”.
Elmo first appeared on Sesame Street in the early 1970s. His character was developed to appeal to toddlers, and the muppet is a three-year-old himself. His popularity grew far beyond the children’s show, however, and in recent years Elmo has made guest appearances on a whole slew of talk shows and variety specials.

The Tickle Me Elmo toy caused a rumpus in 1996 when it became an instant fad and disappeared off the shelves faster than it could be manufactured.
Other drinks that have been inspired by Sesame Street characters include the Big Bird, the Cookie Monster, and of course the (non)ubiquitous Sesame Street – a strange blend of whisky, sesame oil, egg white and apricots.
We’re going to stick with the Tickle Me Elmo – the most popular of the muppet drinks, and certainly the tastiest.
