Hey, it's been sometime since we have published any cocktail recipes. Given that Autumn's about to settle in, here is something to warm you for the chilly months to come. Hope you like it.

We are going to use Glen Moray Classic whiskey for this cocktail. It's a quality Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Elgin, the capital of Speyside, Scotland’s most famous whisky region. The distillery has been producing fine malt whisky, distilled in traditional copper stills, on the banks of the River Lossie since 1897.

The Moray Sour is a cocktail that does not depend on sweetness. This cocktail is sultry and earthy and awakens the senses in an "untraditional" method. The ingredients for this cocktail are fifty milliliters of Glen Moray Classic, a fine scotch whiskey, twenty five milliliters of freshly squeezed lemon juice, three teaspoons of caster sugar, a very fine sugar, a dash of Angostura Bitters, distilled with traditional herbs and spices in Trinidad, one fresh ginger root, locally sourced if possible, one lemongrass bulb, again, locally sourced if possible, and one egg white, preferably from a local, free range chicken owner. Next, to then create this cocktail, you will begin by muddling the fresh ginger root and the lemongrass bulb. When they are perfectly muddled together, place them at the base of your shaker. Then pour in the rest of your ingredients, and use the technique of dry shaking to properly emulsify the egg white. When the egg white has been fully emulsified, add ice to your shaker, then continue shaking until your shaker is frosted. To complete the process, fine strain your cocktail into a chilled glass of your choice. Finally, garnish your Moray Sour with a lemon twist and Angostura Bitters drops. Enjoy!
