The Tequila Sunset cocktail is the fruitier, sweeter, and deeper version of the world famous, legendary cocktail Tequila Sunrise, and it comes with its own array of succulent flavours making it a classic in its own right.
The Tequila Sunset cocktail was at the height of its popularity near the mid-70’s, however owing to its timeless flavours, easy to make recipe, and association with one of the most famous cocktails of the world, this cocktail has thrived through the decades and is back on the rise to world fame once again. There are many different recipes available online for making this cocktail. However, the recipe with which this drink is made most often is not that big a variation on its well-known counterpart; simply add Blackberry Brandy to a Tequila Sunrise and this is the drink you’ll end up with.
If mixed correctly, the darker hues of the Blackberry Brandy travel down to the bottom and rise again as a blood-red sunset. The uneven or striated shades of the orange juice and the Brandy create a sky-like gradient, making this drink a sight for sore eyes. It is a refreshing, fruity cocktail, whose strength comes from its only liqueur, Vodka. It is a relatively easy going cocktail with a sweeter palate, and can be enjoyed at any time of the day or night, and at any occasion.
