The Sweet Dream cocktail was awarded the Cocktail of the Year award in 2012 at the Before Dinner Cocktail Competition (Champion of Champions), when Walter Rolando Davaldos Cardenas of Peru mixed up a fancy, up scaled variety of this drink with elevated versions of its ingredients. This cocktail is as fruity as they come, and is extremely easy going on the senses, because it is heavy on the fruit juices and light on the liqueurs.
This smooth and fragrant cocktail is easy to make and perfect for most gatherings and parties, because its light and sweet nature and very soft after-buzz go will when one wants to simply sip on some sweet and alcoholic drink without completely losing their senses by the time a couple of these drinks are downed.
The Sweet Dream cocktail comprises of the creamy texture and sweet profile of the Coconut Rum, mixed with the unique flavour of Banana, the tartness of Strawberry, and the citrusy tang of the Orange. It is, in simple words, extremely sweet spiked punch, and where is the harm in that? Depending on where and when it is served, the nature of this cocktail is versatile and flexible to changes, and the ingredients can be replaced with fancier versions or you can use the liqueur counterparts of the fruit flavours rather than using their juice versions. One thing is for sure, its buzz will have you smiling and later falling into restful dreams.
