The Royal Flush is a Whiskey-based cocktail that even non-Whiskey drinkers won’t be able to pass up. This beautifully regal-looking cocktail derives its imperial name from the star of the show; Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey. Despite being a brand-specific drink, this cocktail is famous the world over and can be ordered in essentially any bar or pub.

This famous drink is ideally enjoyed by most at the end of the long day at work, because it is known to hit the spot all night long due to its relaxing and calming effect on the drink. In terms of flavour, this cocktail is definitely on the sweet side, which is unsurprising considering that the rest of its ingredients include Peach Schnapps, Chambord Raspberry Liqueur and Cranberry juice. However, it is definitely not too sweet, due to the Cranberry juice offering the ideal balance of tartness.

The different ingredients of the Royal Flush combine to give its final beautiful crimson shade. Even though the rest of the ingredients of this drink are relatively on the feminine side, the Royal Crown Canadian Whiskey is all it needs to man it up, making it a great favourite among men and women alike. However, since the drink comprises of three liqueurs, don’t underestimate this fruity drink. A popular choice of drink during a game of poker, it may also have connections to the game due to a hand of Poker having the same name.
