Red Headed Slut Shot Recipe

This wacky sounding cocktail is actually one of the most delicious tasting cocktails which include Jägermeister in the recipe. It is best taken as a series of shots before eventually passing out into the inevitable blackout. The red headed slut is a crimson cocktail which is ideally describes as having two distinct flavours which weirdly go quite well together; the strong herbal flavour of the Jägermeister, mixed with the sweet and fruity taste of peach schnapps along with cranberry juice. The latter two ingredients are what give the cocktail its complete naughty name.

The popularity of the Red Headed Slut cocktail makes it so that you can order it at pretty much any bar, anywhere, particularly in the west. If they are served cold, these shots are the best little break in between a beer or three. And they definitely should be served as cold as possible. These crimson shots are absolute thirst quencher, and the bitterness of a beer make the sweetness of the shot even sweeter.

However they are taken, they are very refreshing, and, owing to the Jägermeister, can be very deadly. Sometimes the peach schnapps is replaced with crown to make the concoction even more potent. Of course it means that they are going to be a favourite among the darkest and wildest of parties. The boys at a bachelor party or guys’ night would definitely love to loudly order out round after rounds of these shots at a pub to be cheeky. The redheaded slut may be known in some UK pubs as a ginger bitch as well. When it is served as a cocktail, it is stirred, not shaken, and when served as shooters it is shaken in a cocktail shaker, not stirred. Either way, ice is involved.

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Jägermeister
  • 45 ml Peach Schnapps
  • 60 ml cranberry juice

Preparation

  1. Add crushed ice to a cocktail glass
  2. Pour the Jägermeister and Peach Schnapps into the glass
  3. Stir briskly and serve immediately.

  • Cocktail glass
  • Crushed ice
  • Stirrer
