The Pink Cello cocktail is a classic drink with a largely invariable recipe, and is a fast favourite of women in particular. This delicate drink, as the name implies, is a beautiful pink-coloured alcoholic drink that incorporates sweet and sour Limoncello. The Pink of the drink comes from the cranberry juice and the Vodka that dilutes its strong colouration.

The Pink Cello is a feminine drink due to its colour and ingredients, but that’s not to say that it can’t be enjoyed by everybody. Its three ingredients come together to result in a perfectly blended mix of tastes as well as consistencies and textures. It is also far more potent than its feminine nature and classy persona might lead you to believe, so don’t underestimate its strength otherwise it might sneak up on you!

This refreshing cocktail is served chilled, which also makes it a perfect daytime drink for a sunny afternoon, or a daytime party or gathering with friends. It does not have much of an adventurous persona, so rather than having it at night or during a real party, it is better enjoyed when you’re enjoyed a sophisticated event or quiet evening at home. Cocktail lovers rave about the easy recipe and likeable nature of this drink, and it is favourite for serving to guests and mixing up in bigger batches for a gathering. This pretty looking drink is also easy to make, and uses handy ingredients, making it not only delicious and refreshing, but an extremely convenient drink.

Here is a recipe for this cocktail.

  • 20 ml limoncello lemon liqueur
  • 45 ml vodka
  • Cranberry Juice

  1. Add ice cubes to a Collins glass
  2. Pour the Limoncello and Vodka over ice
  3. Fill the rest of the way up with Cranberry Juice

  • Collins glass
