No matter how many cocktails you might have had around the world in the best bars, the first time you see the Grape Ape cocktail, it is sure to stun you. This good looking drink sports an almost ultraviolet shade of purple that is as electrifying in looks as the drink claims to be in taste.
This cocktail typically incorporates UV Grape Vodka, a Californian Vodka made with natural flavours that is a striking neon purple in appearance. Of course, it is just the recommended liqueur for this drink in order to give it its stunning ultraviolent glowing appearance, but many other liqueurs can be used in its place as well.
This unique little cocktail’s recipe is often subjected to extreme variations around the world, but the nature of this drink is characteristically sweet and sour, and full of citrus flavours. The drink also lends a strong kick to the senses, as well as a refreshing jolt to the brain due to its icy cold consistency. It is not a creamy drink, but it goes down smoothly nevertheless and is best enjoyed at the end of a long tiring work day.
The Grape Ape has a halfway classy, halfway adventurous persona, making it ideal for pretty much any occasion. Just be sure to have it in moderation, because a little too much of this Vodka-infused goodness could have you going ape crazy in no time.
