Because of its Irish population and history, Boston is almost always associated with beer and whiskey, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t make cocktails
Enter the Boston Sidecar – somewhere between a Sidecar and a Daiquiri, but a fun drink that is still strong enough to have Boston in its name. Nonetheless, the historic city is forever immortalized in this cocktail, which contains not one, but two liquors, so it’s certainly not one for the light drinker.

- Shake well.
- Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

The Boston Sidecar may not be the most common order in Boston, or at bars in general, for that matter – but it is perfect when you feel like switching things up and having a sour cocktail for a change. The citrus helps counteract the brandy, so that overall, there is a rum and fruit aftertaste, which makes it an effective drink if you feel like having a couple without necessarily constantly tasting alcohol. The Boston Sidecar is a great balance of flavors that produces a strong drink, without being too fruity or tropical. Let’s just say that if you drink more than a couple, you may feel it more than the average cocktail. Drink your Boston Sidecar today responsibly!
