This devilish drink makes a bold appearance not just due to its name, but also due to its outrageous flavours and sheer potency. Sometimes more politely called AMF, China Blue, or Blue Motorcycle, this cocktail is definitely not for those who can’t hold their drink.

The AMF is a fairly recent drink, and very similar to the Invisible Cocktail; in fact, it can be considered a modern modification of its progenitor, the Long Island Iced Tea cocktail. The only difference is, each dose is pumped to the max, to ensnare the senses with one hell of a jolt. The AMF is characteristically a beautiful turquoise blue, resembling the calm waves of the Caribbean Sea. Yet, the effect it has on the drinker is anything but calming.

It is a reckless mixture, focused on the strength of the drink a bit more than the taste itself, but nevertheless, lovers of the Blue Curacao liqueur will delight in those familiar undertones as well. The concept is simple – take the four stronger spirits known to man (Vodka, Tequila, Rum, and Gin), and mix them together for the ultimate strongest cocktail you can drink. Then disguise the overwhelming taste of spirits with citrusy tanginess of the blue curacao.

Remember – do not underestimate the sheer alcohol content of this crazy cocktail. It’s unsurprisingly that the AMF gets its unique name from the fact that once you drink this brain-boggler, you get off on an unforgettable alcohol-fuelled trip. It’s the equivalent of bidding your friends goodbye for the night, only to meet again the next day with colossal hangovers…
